Ο Οδυσσέας του Δουβλίνου

Η Ελληνική κοινότητα Ιρλανδίας, με ευκαιρία το Bloomsday, παρουσιάζει την Τρίτη 16 Ιουνίου 2020 την διαδικτυακή εκδήλωση " Ο Οδυσσέας του Δουβλίνου".Ο Paddy Sammon θα μιλήσει για τον Οδυσσέα του Τζέιμς Τζόις και το ελληνικό στοιχείο. Ο Fran O'Rourke θα αναφερθεί στη σχέση του Τζόις με τη μουσική και θα ακουστούν τραγούδια εμπνευσμένα από τον συγγραφέα. Η Πολύμνια Δρακοπούλου θα διαβάσει απόσπασμα της Οδύσσειας του Τζόις. Η εκδήλωση θα γίνει στα ελληνικά. To celebrate Bloomsday on 16 June 2020, the Hellenic Community of Ireland is presenting "Ulysses of Dublin" online.Paddy Sammon will talk about the Greek influences on Joyce's Ulysses. Fran O'Rourke will discuss James Joyce's relationship with music and present some of the songs the writer loved and incorporated into his writings.Polymnia Drakopoulou will present an extract from The Sirens, the most musical episode of Joyce's Ulysses.The event will be in the Greek language.
