Welcome Note from Thomae Kakouli
On behalf of the Management Board (M.B.) I welcome you to the website of the Hellenic Community of Ireland.
The Hellenic Community of Ireland is Dublin based and was founded in 1964. It is the official instrument of the Greeks in Ireland and as such it is recognised by the Greek, Cypriot and Irish governments. Our Community is relatively small in comparison to the larger communities of the Greek Diaspora, but it is very active considering its size and its resources.
Hellenes, the world over, carry a piece of their homeland inside them. The Hellenic Community of Ireland, whose M.B. works on a voluntary basis, endeavours to welcome the Greeks in Ireland, and to unlock from inside each one of us that very special piece of our homeland. If you wish to know in detail the general and specific aims of the Hellenic Community of Ireland, please consult the Community’s Memorandum of Association.
Finally, we would like to thank you for visiting our website. We also thank you in advance for your comments, questions and suggestions and please be assured that we will pay them appropriate consideration. Please allow us to remind you that we work voluntarily for the Community and thus we would like to ask for your understanding in the event we delay to reply to you.
Have a great browsing!

Thanking you in advance for your collaboration.
